  • Hemp Shield Products Can Be Used In LEED Projects

All Hemp Shield products qualify for use in structures seeking to earn Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) tax credits.

Hemp Shield products meet current LEED version 3 standards, and the version 4 standards slated to go into effect later in 2013. All Hemp Shield products contain only 30% or less of the volatile organic compound (VOC) content per liter permitted by LEED standards. Hemp Shield "Clear" formulations contain 0% VOC content. Hemp Shield products can be used in LEED projects for all applications exterior to the structure's primary water barrier layer.
